Your Child Care Educator

Every day, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a child, to join in their laughter, and to be included in their games.

I am a very tolerant individual with an enormous amount of patience.  This and my love for children make me a nurturing childcare provider.  Having children and grandchildren, I understand how difficult it is to leave your child in someone else’s care.  Because of this, I can appreciate my clients’ trust in me daily.  Therefore, my goal is to continue to build their confidence by being professional, dependable, and honest, advancing my education, and most importantly, caring for a child the same way I would want my children to be cared for.

Your child will be in a home setting while receiving quality services and the benefits of an enhanced learning environment.  I have provided educational, dramatic play, developmentally appropriate, and discovery materials that excite your child to play while learning.  This is why I have decided to participate in the Delaware Stars program.  The Delaware Stars program rates the quality of my family’s childcare with the same standards as nationally certified facilities.  I wanted to ensure that I provided the best quality service to your children while preparing them for their future. 

Helping people comes naturally. I have been working with young people most of my life, from volunteering and mentoring at Community Centers, being a Big Brother/Big Sister, volunteering at Children’s Hospitals, teaching parenting classes, and facilitating mentoring workshops at a Family Shelter. I have chosen Early Childhood Education as my professional career.
